    About the role:

    The Procurement and Contracts Officer is supporting the Procurement Branch by providing corporate, procurement and property services.

    Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Collaborate with business areas as a procurement partner to establish suitable methodologies, draft procurement documents, assess tenders, and negotiate contracts.
  • Oversee procurement reporting, verification, and financial transaction processing.
  • Develop and enforce procurement and contract management policies, procedures, and frameworks.
  • Contribute to procurement planning efforts within the wider team and across the organization.
  • Provide specialized procurement advice, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements and procurement policies for delivering value for money outcomes.
  • Offer timely advice to internal and external stakeholders, including leadership teams.
  • Monitor and advance work area activities to achieve objectives and maintain team cohesion. About you:
  • Excellent organisational and stakeholder management skills
  • Demonstrated government procurement experience.
  • Exposure to compliance reporting.
