The opportunity
Our client is a community focused federal government agency.

They have an exciting opportunity available for an Administration Officers, to join the Internal Review Team in assisting with enquiry management, administrative and data management activities.

12-month initial Labour Hire contract with the opportunity to extend. APS 4 level role offering $43.82 hourly + Superannuation. To be based out of Geelong.
This is a hybrid position offering 2 days working from home, with the remaining 3 on site. 37.5-hour work weeks, with 8-hour days expected.


About the role:


Your responsibilities will include:


  • Receive, acknowledge and record requests for internal reviews of Agency decisions
  • Triage, acknowledge and act as a centralised point of contact for internal review of decisions requests
  • Redirect, and record, outside scope requests for internal review of decisions to the appropriate business area
  • Assist the development and implementation of efficient internal review work practices and provide content for resources to inform quality decision making practices
  • Educate internal and external stakeholders around the approved internal review of decision business processes and respective responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Internal Review Business Team
  • Liaise with the Internal Review Manager and Complaints team to provide a coordinated response to requests for internal review alongside concurrent complaints
  • Monitor and track requests for review, outcomes, identify trends and areas for improvement ensuring a customer focused approach to continuous service development
  • Manipulate and present data to contribute to the development of reports

About you

Australian citizenship is a requirement to be eligible for this position:

  • Intermediate MS Office skills
  • Ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong written & verbal communication
  • Previous background within Disability or Government highly advantageous
