    Job Description:

    Become a key part of a well-established service providing market leader devoted and focused on building customer satisfaction and striving to maintain the highest standards of excellence.
    Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for providing accurate, timely and high-quality financial reporting which includes the review of work performed by other team members as well as the preparation of financial information for decision-making purposes.
    Key responsibilities in this hands-on role will include:

    • Oversee all accounting matters, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards
    • Financial reporting consisting of cash flows, budgets, variance analysis, monthly financial statements and board reporting
    • General ledger administration using MYOB
    • All aspects of the payroll function including calculation and payment of salaries and commission, superannuation and payroll tax
    • Monthly and quarterly reconciliation and submission of BAS
    • Liaise with banks regarding finance and yearly covenants
    • Conduct regular financial analysis to identify trends, variances and opportunities for improvement
    • Co-ordinate with auditors and tax professionals during audits and tax filings

    To succeed in this hands-on role, you will have skills in senior financial management, with a clear track record of success within an import/export environment. CA/CPA qualified, you will demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills and possess integrity and expertise which inspires the confidence and respect of others. A mature, confident professional possessing strong personal motivation and confirmed leadership ability is of paramount importance to succeed in this role.
