BHN in partnership with Thorne Harbor Health, is funded to provide targeted harm reduction services and Health Promotion to late night venues and the people that attend them.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Peer worker to be a part of the Harm Reduction team and help develop initiatives aimed at reducing harms for people who take drugs that are normally associated with nightclubs and late-night venues.

These initiatives will involve online materials through the PARTi project's Instagram page Sesh.
Ed as well as working with venues and parties to promote safer practices.


Ideally, you will possess:


  • A professional qualification in Certificate IV in Alcohol & Other Drugs or similar/equivalent life/work experience.
  • Experience in providing and developing harm reduction training and resources.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with people in a nonjudgmental way drawing on their lived experience.
  • Excellent knowledge of A lived experience of drugs associated with late night venues and knowledge of the harms associated with them.
  • A clear understanding of the social model of health.
