The GP Practice at South Melbourne has been supporting the local community since 2013 under Better Health Network (BHN), and previously as Star Health.

It is a fully accredited teaching practice, with a highly skilled GP, nursing and administrative team.

The practice is part of a progressive community health organization, with a large multidisciplinary ream of health professionals and an array of programs to support patients to achieve their health goals.

We are looking for experienced medical receptionist to support our GP practice based in South Melbourne, having strong
communication skills ,be able to multi-task effectively and have excellent attention to detail.


Regular working hours on weekdays only-9.30am to 6pm. (No shifts on weekends and public holidays).

Ideally, you will possess:


  • A professional qualification in Medical Administration or previous experience as Medical receptionist is desirable
  • Experience in General Practice needed.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and professionally with a broad group of clients
  • Excellent knowledge of Best Practice client management software, including appointment management and billing
  • A clear understanding of confidentiality and privacy principles in healthcare.
