About the RoleA School Administrative Officer assists the principal in a range of school, classroom and office activities. Some examples of duties are record keeping, bookkeeping and other clerical duties, reception, operating and maintaining classroom and office equipment, purchasing, preparing and maintaining stock and learning and resource materials.
A School Administrative Officer also provides administrative, financial and student welfare/wellbeing support and assistance in relation to office and classroom activities, including but not limited to the following school settings: the office, sick bay, library, science laboratory, and food technology/kitchen areas.
Essential RequirementsNSW Government is committed to taking immediate action to reduce teacher admin workload in schools and the roles being recruited are part of the School Admin Improvement Program .
