- Supporting strategic implementation of climate change policies;
- Providing technical support to in-country partners and government ministries;
- Managing donor relationships and initiatives for climate finance;
- Contributing to resource mobilisation and reforms;
- Offering legal and strategic advice on climate change policies;
- Collaborating with program leaders and teams on program matters.
- A Postgraduate University degree in Climate Change/Environmental Science or Management;
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in a similar role;
- Extensive experience in climate change action and finance;
- Good understanding of international climate change negotiation;
- Experience in climate finance readiness processes;
- Skills in multi-stakeholder engagement and consensus building;
- Expertise in project management and organisational skills;
- Team player with a global mindset;
- Knowledge of donor-funded programs is desirable.

About the Role
We are currently seeking Expressions of Interest from experienced Climate Change Technical Advisers and Specialists for potential positions in the Pacific region. Ideal candidates will have a proven track record in climate change technical advisory, working on both short-term and long-term projects. The role involves collaborating with donor-funded programs to deliver high-quality outcomes and showcase strong technical skills. We value attributes such as collaboration, respect, agility, and resilience while focusing on client and partner satisfaction.
