ABOUT THE ROLES:

Are you interested in permanent, part time or casual work we are keen to hear from you.

We are seeking expressions of interest for various roles at Mercy Place Montrose including:


  • Personal Care Assistants
  • Care Companions
  • Enrolled, Endorsed Nurses
  • Registered Nurses
  • Admin Assistants ( Reception, Customer Service and or rostering experience, would be advantageous but is not essential )


In these roles the tasks will vary, however you will be involved in supporting the everyday needs of our residents to live healthy, enriching and meaningful lives, promoting resident physical and emotional wellbeing.

Depending on your skills and experience, tasks may include:

  • Assistance with personal care
  • Leisure activities
  • Cooking, assisting residents with meals and serving
  • Domestic services such as cleaning and laundry
  • Clinical care
  • Other general household and care duties as required

ABOUT YOU:


We are interested to hear from passionate and caring individuals who are currently or are considering a change in to there working environment.

If you are looking to get back into the workforce, studying, currently looking for a new role or have availability for extra work at a casual capacity, we could have the perfect opportunity for you in one of the following areas:


Personal Care Assistant / Care Companion:Current _Certificate III or IV in Aged Care or Individual Support, p_revious experience in Aged Care is preferred but not essential, w_ell-developed communication and interpersonal skills, with t_he ability to work effectively within a team environment._Previous experience in cooking or in a hospitality environment is preferred but not essential._


Enrolled Endorsed Nurse:

Current registration with AHPRA as a medication endorsed Enrolled Nurse, high level of communication and interpersonal skills, excellent clinical skill base, practiced within Aged Care, and demonstrated understanding of person-centred care and ability to work in a team environment.

Experience in leading and supervising teams of people.


Administration Assistant:

If you are customer service focused and enjoy meeting and greeting people and have experience in one or more of the following, we would love to hear from you.

Administration, reception, customer service & rostering.


Registered Nurse:

Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), excellent clinical skills and significant Aged Care experience, leadership qualities, strong working knowledge of legislation and policies pertinent to Aged Care, computer literacy and a high level of interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
