Roles will include:
- Assistants in Nursing
- Food Services, Cooks and Chefs
- Cleaners
- Registered Nurses
- Clinical and Care Managers
- Lifestyle and Pastoral Care
- Administration and reception
The newly developed site, Our Lady Mercy Place Harris Park will enable us to better care for and support our seniors and to keep them close within the community, near to their families, their people and their church.
In these roles the tasks will vary, however you will be involved in supporting the everyday needs of our residents to live healthy, enriching and meaningful lives, promoting resident physical and emotional wellbeing.
- Assistance with personal care
- Leisure activities
- Cooking, assisting residents with meals and serving
- Domestic services such as cleaning and laundry
- Clinical care
- Other general household and care duties as required
ABOUT YOU:
We are interested to hear from passionate and caring individuals who are currently or expect to be available for work in March 2023.
- Relevant experience in aged care
- Demonstrated understanding of personcentred care
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- For care staff: Certificate III or IV in Aged Care or Individual Support, welldeveloped communication and interpersonal skills, report/document in line with requirements, ability to follow procedures as directed and in line with resident care plans.
- For Nursing staff: Current registration with AHPRA, excellent clinical skills and significant Aged Care experience and strong working knowledge of legislation and policies pertinent to Aged Care
Overall we are looking for staff that are highly personable, organised, flexible, and passionate about delivering the highest level of care and service to our elderly residents.
We are inviting applicants with experience working in an aged care environment and can demonstrate the characteristics and skills we're seeking from other areas of experience.
