    About the role

    The General Manager, People, Safety and Governance (GMPSG) will partner with the Managing Director and executive leadership team to ensure South East Water is well-positioned to deliver healthy water for life. The appointee will deliver a progressive, future-focused Safety, People and Wellbeing Strategy and lead the People, Safety and Governance group to achieve the objectives of the function and the broader business. Alongside a focus on innovation, the GMPSG will oversee a contemporary approach to legal advice and managing risk, balancing strong compliance with the sustainable delivery of strategic objectives.

    About you

    You are an accomplished human resources, or legal and governance, executive with a strategic mindset. You apply your well-rounded skillset across strategic and operational priorities, demonstrating a passion for driving sustainable change and providing influential and supportive leadership. With a strong service ethos, you have the ability to engage credibly across all levels of an organisation, from front-line field staff to the board, as well as with external stakeholders and regulatory bodies. Leverage your passion for optimising innovation and technology, to play a critical leadership role in an organisation with an inspiring purpose; to deliver healthy water for life.
