- Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in accordance with US GAAP and company policies.
- Month-End Close: Coordinate the month-end close process, reconciling accounts, analysing variances, and preparing journal entries to ensure the integrity of financial data.
- Cost Accounting: Manage and analyse manufacturing costs, including raw materials, labour, and overhead, to support cost optimisation and profitability analysis.
- Inventory Management: Oversee inventory accounting processes, including valuation, obsolescence, and inventory reserves, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements
- General Ledger Management: Maintain the general ledger, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Working towards CA/CPA.
- 2-3 years of experience as an Assistant Accountant.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP is preferable but not necessary.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (Concur/ SAP).
