- Financial Accountant -Large FMCG
- FMCG Household brands
- Sydney CBD
- Preparation of monthly Profit & Loss reports and Balance Sheets, as well as Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Preparation of month-end journals for prepayments and accruals
- Provide assistance with the budget preparation
- Preparation of year-end accounts in accordance with accounting standards
- Review BAS/IAS work before submitting to the ATO
- Manage governance and controls
- Support the management of internal controls to ensure they are in place
- Preparation of monthly Compliance Reporting pack
- Assist with the Tax duties
- CPA or CA qualification or working towards
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Chartered 1st Mover or Business Services, or industry experience with 2-3 years hands-on experience
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and Word skills
- Exceptional knowledge Accounting standards, principles, procedures, and standards
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to manage large volumes of data and analysis simultaneously
- Ability to work autonomously and demonstrate initiatives
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a team.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
