    Job Purpose

    As the Lead Operational Auditor, your role within the client's Internal Auditing Organization is crucial for ensuring efficient risk management, control, and governance processes. You will head audit projects, identify significant risks, and offer valuable insights to boost operational effectiveness.

    Roles And Responsibilities

    • Define audit engagement objectives and scope by pinpointing critical risks and controls.
    • Create risk-focused audit plans, supervise the audit team, including assistant auditors.
    • Interact with audit clients, prepare field memorandums, and keep management updated on audit status.
    • Execute audit procedures following company protocols and global standards.
    • Compile detailed audit reports and present findings to client management.
    • Provide mentorship and on-the-job training to junior staff, assess their performance and skills.
    • Carry out assurance and advisory tasks concerning internal controls as required.

    Must-Have Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, engineering, or related fields; advanced degree is a plus.
    • Minimum of seven years of experience in auditing, engineering, or operations, especially in the oil and gas sector or a prominent auditing firm.
    • Possession of professional certification like CIA, CPA, CA, or equivalent.
    • Outstanding English communication skills, encompassing presentation and interpersonal capabilities.
    • Willingness to travel for audit projects within and outside the Kingdom.
