Working as the Governance, Risk & Compliance Lead, you will be responsible for leading the internal audit function, ensuring risk management protocols and practices are embedded across the Group and developing a culture of proactive risk prevention, mitigation and reporting.

In this role, you will;

  • Determine internal audit scope and develop annual internal audit plans and objectives
  • Conduct internal audits using audit methodologies and audit report criteria
  • Evaluate business process controls, making recommendations to improve business practices, controls and systems
  • Conduct Financial Control Self-Assessment audits
  • Collect, analyse and report on the effectiveness of financial controls
  • Review treasury controls and policies
  • Perform financial, Operational and information security audit assignments
  • Develop medium term strategic audit plans based on business risk
  • Assist in external audits and investigations as required
  • Deliver reporting to senior, executive and group leaders on compliance, legislative and risk
What you'll bring;

  • Tertiary qualifications in the field of Commerce, Accounting, Finance or Information Technology
  • Recognised certifications relating to Risk Management and Compliance Auditing
  • Strong familiarity with Internal auditing, Risk Management practices and Information Security Vulnerabilities.
  • Advanced knowledge of managing service level agreements, relevant legislation in relation to receivable managements, protocols, policies and practices.
