Working as the Governance, Risk & Compliance Lead, you will be responsible for leading the internal audit function, ensuring risk management protocols and practices are embedded across the Group and developing a culture of proactive risk prevention, mitigation and reporting.
- Determine internal audit scope and develop annual internal audit plans and objectives
- Conduct internal audits using audit methodologies and audit report criteria
- Evaluate business process controls, making recommendations to improve business practices, controls and systems
- Conduct Financial Control Self-Assessment audits
- Collect, analyse and report on the effectiveness of financial controls
- Review treasury controls and policies
- Perform financial, Operational and information security audit assignments
- Develop medium term strategic audit plans based on business risk
- Assist in external audits and investigations as required
- Deliver reporting to senior, executive and group leaders on compliance, legislative and risk
- Tertiary qualifications in the field of Commerce, Accounting, Finance or Information Technology
- Recognised certifications relating to Risk Management and Compliance Auditing
- Strong familiarity with Internal auditing, Risk Management practices and Information Security Vulnerabilities.
- Advanced knowledge of managing service level agreements, relevant legislation in relation to receivable managements, protocols, policies and practices.
