An exciting opportunity exists for a talented and passionate individual to join the Strategy and Performance branch as an Audit and Risk Lead at the Department of Premier and Cabinet.

The Strategy and Performance branch provides strategic and operational leadership to drive whole of government digital transformation in Victoria and plays a critical leadership role in developing Digital Victoria capabilities aligned to the strategic goals.

We are looking for an experienced Audit and Risk Lead to work across the organisation to achieve the Digital Victoria's objectives, provide advice to the senior executive team and manage enterprise risk.

Operating with a high degree of autonomy, you will manage the risk and audit function and help develop a culture of confident and risk-informed decision-making.


  • Lead design and delivery of a highquality audit and risk program to meet business and operational objectives and priorities.
  • Implement and maintain key systems used in the management of audit actions, risks and projects to ensure data integrity and generate required reporting.
  • Communicate, consult, and build strong and effective relationships with a range of individuals and groups, clients and peers, to progress work priorities.
  • Develop briefings for senior executives on risk and audit topics.
  • Manages Digital Victoria's State Significant Risks.
