Our client, a warm and welcoming gynaecological specialist, requires an experienced and motivated team member to fill a vacant Medical Practice Manager position.

As the Practice Manager you will take responsibility for the set-up, coordination, and management of important day to day operational functions including booking theatre, making appointments, preparation of billings and the ongoing development and growth of the business.

The Role

Your typical day will involve:

Meeting & greeting patients
Booking & confirming appointments
Smooth and efficient running of clinics
Theatre bookings
Managing phones & correspondence
Administration and general office duties
Reconciling EFTPOS and Genie transactions daily
Occasional clinical chaperoning
Light housekeeping duties

Essential Criteria

To be successful you will need to demonstrate:

Exceptional communication skills and telephone manner
Experience using Genie software
Excellent customer service
High attention to detail
Prioritisation skills and the ability to multitask
The ability to work effectively autonomously
An ability to work in a fastpaced environment
Professional attitude, conduct and presentation
Excellent attention to detail, time management and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload
The ability to engage professionally with patients and other stakeholders
Fully vaccinated against COVID19

We are looking for an empathetic individual with a patient-focused approach to customer service.

Desirable Criteria:

Minimum one year experience as a Specialist Medical Practice Manager
Proficient in using Microsoft Office products
Completion of an accredited medical certificate would be highly regarded

This position requires someone to undertake all duties in a diligent manner with an honest and proactive approach with the ability to work independently.
