The AMA (WA) is a highly diversified business that includes Human Resource (HR) Consulting and Recruitment, a Group Training Organisation, Medical Products and Financial Services divisions.


Your new role

This newly created role will work within the AMA Recruit division of AMA Services (WA), to support the administrative HR and recruitment consulting activities for state government departments as part of the Common Use Arrangement (CUA) HRS2021.

In addition, the position will help to coordinate activities associated with temporary and permanent medical practice staff recruitment functions.

An outline of the position objectives includes:

  • Coordinating and managing all administrative components of the end-to-end HR consulting and recruitment process
  • Ensuring a high standard of customer service is provided to all internal and external customers, presenting AMA Recruit as a professional, capable and responsive service
  • Developing relationships with business partners and other stakeholders through positive and proactive engagement
  • Maintaining and updating recruitment records and database management
  • Undertaking other associated activities as required by the business, to achieve the strategic intentions of the division.

The following attributes are what we believe will complement our professional and motivated team:


  • Experience in providing a range of administration support functions in an office environment
  • High level administration skills, including the use of Microsoft Office and other relevant packages
  • Demonstrated high level experience in customer service management and delivery
  • Proven experience in building relationships with a range of stakeholders
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to use initiative to progress and complete tasks
  • Experience with endtoend recruitment functions advantageous, however not essential
  • Experience within a medical or health and/or government environment advantageous, however not essential.
