- Deliver a range of civil infrastructure projects from concept design through to issue for construction with a sound understanding of technical and commercial standards, including writing of reports
- Providing technical design guidance, manage scope and deliverables, review processes within a range of civil infrastructure projects.
- Safety leadership, including planning and execution of safety in design processes on projects
- Mentoring and coaching of more junior team members including engineers and designers
- Managing the delivery throughout the project life cycle, taking accountability for overall time, cost, and deliverables.
- Degree in Civil Engineering preferred; suitable for obtaining membership of Engineers Australia
- CPEng or demonstrated progress and commitment to obtain CPEng.
- Experience working in Design teams delivering concept, tender, and detailed design documentation for large civil infrastructure projects
- Experience and exposure to DIT Master specifications
- Effective communication skills including client interfacing, enjoy working collaboratively in a team environment and takes pride in delivering quality work
- Recent application of current Austroads guidelines on major projects is preferred
- Understanding of various software packages 12D, Civil 3D, etc is not essential but favourable
