Undertake reactive and emergency maintenance and associated tasks, ensuring the appropriate use of works management systems and procedures to facilitate optimum efficiency and effectiveness of work delivery.
Undertake planned/preventative maintenance and minor works, ensuring the appropriate use of works management systems and procedures to facilitate optimum efficiency and effectiveness of work delivery.
Participate in a flexible multi-discipline working environment to meet the needs of operational requirements this may include but not limited to the operational of:
Jetting ute and equipment
Hydro Feeding/Excavation equipment and sheds
Valve and equipment
Water maintenance equipment
Sewer maintenance equipment
Single person water and sewer response and repair sheds and equipment
Education/Hydrovac sheds and equipment
Chick farm sheds, small plant and equipment, such as excavator, mechanical tools, and equipment
Identify opportunities to improve the efficiency and performance of the SA Water contract, including working with SA Water, farm Supervisors and Operations Managers to improve maintenance programs under supervision of the director.
Acting as a first point of contact for service delivery, modifying planned work schedules to accommodate action where necessary, and manage all management requests for information
Participate in the delivery of operations to ensure that business plan objectives and corporate strategies are met
Provide input / suggestion on incident management to improve safety and assist with risk management
Provide required delivery of / input into vehicles and mobile plant maintenance requirements
Provide input into the preparation of business case documentation to support the objectives
Other relevant duties as required by Supervisors / Operations Manager Health, Safety & Environment
Ensure compliance with legislation and regulations related to health and safety at all times
Understand and comply with safety/environmental policies and procedures, and promote health, safety and environmental initiatives in the farms.
Pay:
Up to $72,000.00 per year
