    • Our client is a global professional services firm seeking a Compliance & Governance Manager to manage the design & implementation of the compliance and governance processes for their international clients legal departments. The team is responsible for:
  • Implementing centrally managed global outsourcing models that provide clients with greater control and visibility over client compliance and governance activities
  • Development of new operating models to address new markets entry, finance transformation initiatives integration, and implementation of shared service centres.
  • Assist in the migration of legal entity reporting and governance compliance processes from local countries to the centres
  • Governance using a global platform to mitigate risk and increase corporate transparency.
    • As the Manager in the Client Compliance and Governance team, your key responsibilities will include:
  • Provide seamless client management services such as: Corporate Health Checks, outsourced annual compliance services, routine or event-driven corporate services such as a change in CEO or liquidation, global organisational training and knowledge provision
  • Developing proposals and presentations, including demonstrations of your role and the firm. You will provide high-quality services, building strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Managing, coaching, and developing a small team of professionals.
  • Collating legal statutory compliance requirements and conducting risk assessments in potential areas.
  • Developing and enhancing management and visibility over the global compliance and reporting function.
  • You will have access to global team members with expertise in tax, finance, payroll, legal, corporate governance, tax technology and data analytics, to help you succeed
    • Required qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, with significant tax or legal experience. JD/LLM preferred.
  • Governance Institute membership or relevant governance body ideally.
  • Minimum of 5 years of work experience in a professional tax organization or law firm.
  • Broad exposure to income tax, statutory reporting, payroll, or other related finance activities.
  • Client-facing, global role includes clients in 60 countries
