The Job.
Reporting into the Director, Governance as the Governance Manager, you will be mainly responsible for the following duties:

Conducting a comprehensive review and update of the Risk Management Framework to align with best practices.
Ensuring full compliance with the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009, including a thorough assessment of the proactive release program.
Collaborating on the development of a guide for effectively managing recommendations.
Assisting the Director of Governance in the daytoday functions of the internal audit unit. This involves planning and executing ongoing internal audit projects, in partnership with an external service provider, as well as preparing reports for the Executive Office.
Undertaking various governancerelated responsibilities as necessary to support the goals of the Governance Team, which may include assisting with correspondence management.

You.
To be successful in this role, you must have experience in the following areas:

Min 2 years' experience in a similar level Governance/Risk Management role
Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
Selfassured in collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders.
The ability to exercise professional judgment when making improvement recommendations.
