  • Client Retention Director - National

    A unique and highly sought after position has become available to join Aon National's leadership team. Leading Aon National's client retention strategy and activity across Aon Australia's mid market business. This role is a strategic role to enhance and execute on exceptional client experience, retention activities, cross-sell and delivering all of Aon to our clients.

    We are looking for an experienced insurance professional with a strategic mindset who will be responsible for driving delivery and embedding client retention strategies to our clients nationally, resulting in stronger retention, with a focus primarily on high service clients and industry groups.

    We have an extensive presence across Australia, with representation in each State capital and an extensive regional branch network.

    What the day will look like

  • Strengthening Aon National's value proposition across High Service Clients and Industry Groups
  • Strengthening technical and client engagement capabilities across National to ensure clear articulation of our value propositions and that the best advice and service is being delivered to National clients
  • Driving improvements across the business to set higher standards and deliver more consistent client experience from acquisition through to renewals
  • Embedding focus on delivering on our client service strategy and partnering with the Regional Directors on how to deliver on best practice
  • Accountability for our Strategic account review program for high service clients
  • Accountability for jeopardy management for high service clients
  • Accountable for defensive tender responses
  • Accountable for driving cross sell of all of Aon to existing clients
  • Coaching National colleagues on best practice in client service
  • Identify opportunities for industry solutions, facilities and cross-sell opportunities across Aon National
  • Skills and experience that will lead to success

    This position will suit someone who is highly motivated to deliver exceptional client experience and a strong influencer across a National business. A strategic mindset, accompanying strong broking and exceptional client management experience. Suitable people will also have:

  • Strong focus on execution

  • Incredibly strong Strategic & Growth Mindset and above the line attitude to solving problems
  • Tangible work experiences or skill set
  • High level Insurance broking experience is desirable
  • Financial acumen
  • Technical insurance skillset
  • Leadership experience
  • Tier 1 qualification, insurance qualifications such as Diploma / QBIP preferred
