- Undertake key strategic projects in line with the procurement and contract management priorities
- Proven experience in strategic advice and direction regarding systems, reports, policies, legislation and procedures
- Responsible for analysis and evaluation of existing business activities and new proposals from identified external agencies
- Providing a high level of stakeholder engagement with internal customers, and demonstrating superior relationship management and influencing skills with external parties
- Investigates, evaluates and recommends budgeting priorities across the business
- Ability to oversee the development of contract formation, request for tender, contract extensions and variations
- Ability to to develop, implement procedures, guidelines and evaluate projects
- Leading critical tender negotiations, analysing quotes and tenders for evaluations
- Monitors and controls budgets for projects and sub-projects
- Offering expert guidance on procurement policy best practices
- Ability to provide an open mindset and new ideas for practical solutions on complex problems
- Ability to to develop, implement procedures, guidelines and evaluate projects
- Proven ability to manage high value complex projects
- Tertiary qualifications in Law or Finance will be highly regarded
- Minimum of 4 years experience in contract management
- Only Australian Citizens will be eligible
- NV1 Clearance or baseline clearance is advantageous
- Experience with Engineering software
- High standard of interpersonal skills and effective verbal and written communication skills
