The Opportunity:

Are you someone who is experienced in procurement and contracts management? If you are, this may be the role for you


This role will lead and support the Technology Systems and Services procurement and contract management activities to deliver the value and level of service expected by both our internal and external customers.


This will be a full time, fixed term role for 2 years.

The Role:


  • Facilitate strategic and tactical procurements for IT services and solutions
  • Work with TSS leaders to analyse requirements and risks and develop required procurement documents that meet corporate procurement requirements
  • Maintain the IT supplier management framework and supporting IT contract management governance processes and procedures
  • Effectively manage vendor operational contract enquiries, issues, disputes, variations, risks, expenditure and undertaking negotiations with vendors as required
  • Provide advice in relation to contracts, management, service level, benchmarking and dispute resolution
  • Support the Contract Owner to ensure effective management of contracts including regular performance management meetings
  • Manage and monitor process effectiveness and integrity, including process tools and supports
  • Work collaboratively with teams across RTWSA (particularly Finance) that facilitate effective and efficient procurement and contract management processes, target metrics
  • Demonstrated business focussed procurement and contract management expertise, particularly in an ICT environment
  • Proven ability to prepare procurement documentation and reports
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of procurement and accounting systems
  • Sound understanding of governance, risk management and assurance principles
  • Influence and negotiate with stakeholders to minimise business risk
  • Ability to review team processes and utilise methods for improvement (e.g Lean six sigma etc.)
  • Proven ability to lead team compliance
  • Demonstrated planning and delivery skills
