- Performing reconciliations of bank accounts and other balance sheet reconciliations
- Maintain Fixed Assets Register
- Assistance with Monthly Board Packs and Annual Budget Process
- Prepare Monthly BAS & Payroll Tax and FBT
- Assistance with the preparation of financial statements
- Contributing to Financial Analyses
- Calculation of accruals and journals for review by the Group Financial Controller
- Assistance with the preparation of profit and loss accounts and balance sheets
- Provide regular business intelligence reports and key data to managers and stakeholders on a regular basis
- Assistance with Grants
- Assistance with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions (when required)
- Be the support and back up for the payroll function however, experience in payroll processing is not required.
- Tertiary Qualifications in Finance / Accounting
- Accounting experience in an Aged Care or Childcare or other NFP with government funding is preferred, but not essential
- 4+ years' experience in a finance with accounting experience in a fast-paced environment
- CPA Qualification Obtained (or working towards this)
- High degree of proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Experience in and able to demonstrate proficiency with computerised accounting software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to maintain professional confidentiality
- High degree of attention to detail and accuracy
- Works well in a team environment
