About the Role:
This role sits within our health division - Ogilvy Health.

Ogilvy Health Sydney is looking for an Account Manager to work on one of our leading healthcare clients.


Your role as an Account Manager will focus on the day-to-day organisation and administration of the client account and ensure great creative output for their projects in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Beyond this, you are the guardian and promoter of information and insight about the brand and ensure the team is well informed about the brand, it's market and competitors.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Support the Account Director with daily tasks and interactions with the client.
  • Handle day to day administration of the account, including internal and client WIPs, workflow control, meetings, minutes, estimates and records, under the direction of the Account Director.
  • Manage in an appropriate manner and keep team informed on work in progress, recognising issues early and preempting them.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the client's brand and its competitive environment.
  • Write briefs under the supervision of the Account Director.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to get things done on time, on budget and at the right quality, including peers across departments and disciplines.
  • Ensure clients are efficiently charged for the work the agency has performed.
  • Develop a strong relationship with the client and ensure they are kept in the loop with work in progress. Provide excellent customer service in all client interactions.

Skills and Qualifications:


  • Hardworking, dedicated, and passionate about healthcare communications
  • Exceptional financial management skills in running clients as though it is their own business
  • Effective communication skills and a positive, calm, and considered manner are essential.
  • Proactive and positive approach to work and an eagerness to learn and progress.
  • Ability to relate well to a variety of people and build productive relationships, while still introducing elements of fun and humour in the workplace.
