THE COMPANY


The company powers online and point-of-sale transactions for all major banks in Australia, with clients ranging from major merchants such as Woolworths, Foxtel, Bunnings to corner stores.


Their goal is to continuously lead the payments industry with new technology delivering value to clients, which include merchants, banks, acquirers and POS vendors.


THE OPPORTUNITY

The Account Manager will join the Commercial team that is responsible for driving commercial relationships and outcomes, including revenue growth, relationship success and stability, contract and pricing negotiations, and sales distribution effectiveness.

This includes new business generation and customer sourcing, existing customers and partner relationship management, contracts, legal agreements, and branding, marketing and sales collateral, and strategy


The Account Manager is responsible for maintaining relationships with existing clients, including major banks, merchants, partners, and acquirers (depending on their portfolio).


Travel Requirements

  • Potential interstate and NZ travel depending on accounts

EXPERIENCE

  • Wellrounded experience in payments
  • MUST have proven B2B sales experience, with a Merchant Acquiring background
  • Transactional Banking is less preferred but also an option
  • Account Mgmt. for technology company a bonus in complement to the above.
  • Proficiency in business development, sales, and managing customer accounts.
  • Ability to lead complex negotiations involving bespoke commercial agreements.
  • Strong presentation and written communication skills
