The Role:
We are always on the lookout for highly talented individuals who possess extreme character to join our industry leading team. As such, an opportunity is now available for a Senior Site Supervisor to join our Insurance Builders division. Working on medium to large loss claims and complex Residential and Commercial projects for insurers. Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Take ownership of medium to large loss insurance jobs from commencement to completion
Monitor quality audit reports & ensure items are actioned accordingly
Engage, coordinate & manage trades during the restoration process for buildings damaged by insurable events in the Melbourne Metro area
Communicate & negotiate with trades to track the progress of jobs
Liaise between clients & insurance companies
Coordinate access to properties with insured parties
Attend & contribute to meetings
Complete monthly budget reporting on all projects
Dispute / issue resolution, as required
Ensure all inspections, certificates of final inspection from Building Surveyor & relevant documentation is signed off
Ensure purchase order processes are followed
Review monthly job cost reports
Ensure all company OH&S policies are followed at all times

Key Selection Criteria:

Strong background in construction or supervising construction projects
Relevant building trade qualification, preferably in carpentry
Excellent communication & customer service skills
Strong computer skills
Values Relationships and Relationship building skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects & delegating + completing priorities.
Ability to be empathetic to the needs of the clients and customers.
Good work ethic
Computer literacy
Understanding of OHS practices, legislation, regulations and current market rates/trades.
Current motor vehicle licence
