    Description

    Reporting to:

    This role reports directly to the Head of Finance.

    Tasks and Responsibilities:


    • Performing daily bank reconciliations and posting entries into General Ledger (XERO).


    • Processing daily cash transactions, including Direct Debits and Coupon Payments, awaiting CFO approval and releasing for payment.


    • Ensuring strict adherence to company policies and internal controls to maintain financial integrity and compliance.


    • Preparing coupon payments for approval and release for payment.


    • Conducting bank account reconciliations to verify the accuracy of recorded transactions and reconcile any discrepancies to ensure accurate financial reporting.


    • Reporting weekly sales metrics and generating monthly Adviser commission invoices.


    • Processing monthly payroll.


    • Preparing reports for ASX and ASIC.


    • Preparing management accounts and other necessary reports for CFO, CEO, or Board.


    • Reconciling balance sheets, ensuring all balances are fully substantiated, and addressing any discrepancies promptly.


    • Analysing and forecasting company's positions in relation to realised/ unrealised profit by analysing and collecting accounting information.


    • Preparing GST BAS.


    • Preparing statutory accounts for CFO review, including half-yearly and year-end accounts, along with any periodic reports required by ASX.


    • Assisting in budget preparation and other forecasting exercises.


    • Creating financial models to support key decisions, including analyzing existing data for insights.


    • Providing management reporting, including scorecards and any other reports required for CFO, CEO, or Board.


    • Managing payroll and related duties (STP filing, IAS lodgement, super) in conjunction with HR and accounting software.


    • Performing budget management tasks such as monitoring company performance against estimates and preparing annual budgets


    • Complying with accounting and financial policies and regulations.

    Qualifications, education, experience and abilities required:

    • A relevant Bachelor degree

    Experience requirements:


    • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
