    About Our Client

    Our client is a dynamic and innovative organisation. As they continue to expand their operations, they are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Financial Reporting and Compliance Manager to join the large finance team.

    Job Description

    This fast paced role has the following key responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting Excellence: Lead the preparation and submission of financial reports in accordance with Australian Accounting Standards. Ensure accuracy, transparency, and timeliness in financial reporting processes. Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, standards, and guidelines.
  • Audit Management: Oversee the audit process, liaise with auditors, and ensure compliance with audit requirements. Drive continuous improvement in audit processes and outcomes.
  • Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and develop a team of Financial Accountants. Provide guidance, support, and coaching to nurture talent and foster a culture of excellence and collaboration.
  • Project Involvement: Actively participate in finance-related projects, such as system implementations, process improvements, and regulatory changes. Contribute expertise and insights to achieve project objectives. The Successful Applicant

    Qualified in Accounting, the successful candidate will also possess:

    • Strong understanding of financial regulations.
    • Proven track record of successful team leadership and people management skills.
    • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Effective communication and presentation skills.
    • Proficient in financial software and ERP systems.
