    We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Business Analysis and Reporting Manager at our Perth CBD Office, on a Full-Time permanent basis.

    About this role

    As the Business Analysis and Reporting Manager you will be accountable for the enablement of actionable insights and performance reporting that creates and maintains enterprise value. Your effective leadership will coach and support teams of data and reporting experts to deliver holistic business performance reporting and access to curated data and visualisations to enable end to end value chain performance analysis, reporting and monitoring.

    • Provide specialist advice and execute tasks related to the development of financial and non-financial reporting and analysis.
    • Create and maintain reports and dashboards to enable quality analysis and modelling of key business revenue and cost drivers to assist senior management in decision making. Provide reports and dashboards for inclusion into the monthly Board Performance Reporting.
    • Ensure updates to the data warehouse or other centralised data sources are complete, to enable timely performance reports, rolling forecasts and other planning artefacts.
    • Working with other business partners to develop and maintain single source of reporting and analysis and provide drill down dashboard performance reporting based on driver trees.
    • Leverage technology to provide insightful advice and identify new improvement opportunities and improve processes within the team and business.
    • Development and maintenance of business insights tools that enable stakeholders to self-serve (i.e. Qlik), whilst maintaining visualisation tool agnostic data sets and sources.
    • Design, implement and present financial and operational results with meaningful performance metrics from which stakeholders can make informed decisions.
    • Develop strong relationships with colleagues in our Tech and Innovation Business Unit to maintain alignment with governance standards, best practice, and application adoption.
    • Maintain up to date industry knowledge relating to relevant applications and systems to support business and function outcomes.
    • Develop talent through effective execution of employee performance outcomes through established system and processes and the ongoing development of employees.

    About you

    We are seeking someone with experience and attributes that include:

    • Degree qualified in Business Analytics/computer science/Data Science/ commerce.
    • Extensive and broad experience in leadership skills focused on strong stakeholder engagement experience, including a background of influencing and working with diverse teams in a matrix model.
    • Strong analytical, modelling and research skills, including demonstrable proficiency with Microsoft Excel and SQL
    • Strong working knowledge and experience in using Qlik, or similar BI Tool. Understanding of SQL, Python or other relevant languages (proficiency in relevant languages will be highly regarded)
    • Strong communication, writing and interpersonal skills, complimented by highly developed influencing skills.
    • Analytical and accurate, with an inquisitive mindset to critically evaluate information in a dynamic environment.
    • Strong decision-making skills, and ability to challenge, negotiate, and influence.
    • Understanding of large data environments, analytics platforms, ETL processes and applications and, best practice data management tools and database schemas.
