- Drive the coordination of the audit and preparation of the annual financial statements

- Degree qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA) with extensive experience in progressively financial leadership roles.
- Experience in a senior financial accounting and reporting leadership role
- Experience in managing, developing, mentoring and leading a team.
- Sound technical skills in the application of accounting principles (GAAP and IFRIS) and in-depth knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards and taxation obligations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse complex financial data and identify trends and insights complemented with an excellent attention to detail.
- Outstanding organisational skills with a proven ability to adhere to time constraints and deadline oriented.
- Proficiency in financial analysis tools and software such as Microsoft Excel, financial reporting systems, business intelligence (Power BI) and ERP systems such as Oracle.
- Experience in implementing best-practice processes, continuous improvement and robust internal controls.
- High level of communications, interpersonal and organisational skills complemented by demonstrated leadership and collaborative people management style.

The role
The primary purpose of this role is to oversee this company's financial accounting, analysis and reporting activities. Main duties include but are not limited to:
This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and timely recording, analysis and reporting of financial data in accordance with applicable accounting principles, Australian Accounting Standards, and regulatory requirements. The Financial Reporting Manager collaborates with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive compliance, integrity and transparency of financial reporting.
