    Events Marketing Intern Sydney

The role: We're seeking an enthusiastic individual with a passion for technology and excellent interpersonal skills to join our growing team in the Sydney WeWork Office as an intern on a part-time basis (3 days a week for a minimum of 6 months). Please be noticed that this isn't a typical internship, it will not be eligible to intern program. The candidate would have previous experience in marketing and events and a keen interest in the technology space. This role will support the successful delivery of events across ANZ and Asia - including third-party and owned events (virtual & in-person).

    The role will include the following responsibilities. If you don't have experience in one or two areas that's absolutely fine, as long as you're eager to learn and confident getting stuck in::

  • Assist the existing marketing team's delivery of Contentsquare's events in APAC from concept to completion, assisting on both first and third-party events
  • Contributing towards the end to end campaign process including email marketing, social strategy, and effective follow up and nurturing campaigns
  • Collaborate across functions globally to help deliver an effective event marketing strategy and communications plan
  • Research and make final decisions on venues, suppliers, entertainment, design and production for in-person events
  • Assist on-the-day virtual and in-person event management, managing logistics
  • Maintain strong relationships with internal teams (Inside Sales, Sales, Customer Success and Customer Experience).

  • Current student
  • Experience of running and managing events
  • Exceptional project management skills and understanding how to manage the priorities of multiple stakeholders
  • Strong negotiation skills, highly personable, and confident interacting in-person and over the phone with senior personnel
  • Strong copywriting skills and experience of delivering compelling supporting collateral
  • Experience with Salesforce and Hubspot (or equivalent marketing automation tool) is a plus
  • Enjoys working in a dynamic start-up culture, contributing new and creative ideas
