The Role


We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Marketing Manager to join our talented Brand and Marketing team on a permanent basis.

The purpose of this role is to support the Industry teams by providing strategic Brand and Marketing advice through identifying and anticipating client needs profitably, delivering the creation and activation of profiling, lead generation and client expansion activities while also supporting the Lines of Business on multi-channel marketing campaigns, new business activities, and continuous improvement of marketing processes.

This role is open to Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane with hybrid work arrangements available.

In this role you will have the opportunity to:

  • Work with the Industry Leads and teams on the development of their marketing strategy, assisting set objectives, agreeing campaign ROI and success measures and developing marketing campaigns/programs/initiatives that supports Industry profiling, lead generation, relationship development and revenue growth objectives
  • Lead (including project management) agreed marketing campaigns and initiatives which support GTM plans

This may include:

  • Agreement on scope, use of third parties and thirdparty agreements, developing GTM plan(s)
  • Assessment of competitor campaigns, market activity and content
  • Multimedia content structure and editing
  • Stakeholder management, delivery of GTM initiatives and reporting
  • Briefing and liaising with the Firm's media relations resources on media opportunities
  • Contributing ideas, reviewing and developing content for website presence and other digital opportunities linked to strategic communications, campaigns and activities for Line of Business/industry
  • Managing resources within Brand & Marketing to execute on initiatives
  • Events/Client experiences, Digital, Design, Internal Communications, Media, etc. Coordinating meetings/briefings with Industry/Line of Business Marketing Leads and Partners on the status and performance of the marketing campaigns and supporting activities
  • Work with the Corporate Communications & Media team to edit articles, thought leadership and other communications, writing content to promote articles, thought leadership for web, social, internal communications
  • Work with the Corporate Communications & Media team to grow the market profile of each Line of Business and Industry teams using available internal communication channels/initiatives significant matters, team successes, etc
  • Support sponsorships and partnerships relevant to Industry and Line of Business and developing activations, identifying and negotiating opportunities to maximise value
  • Write internal communications promoting Industry or Line of Business achievements that feature in the firm's internal newsletter, and possibly other internal channels by working with the Corporate Communications & Media team
  • Research and provide background content for press release drafting by working with the Corporate Communications & Media team

More About You
The role will have business development, marketing, communications and project management functions.

  • Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in marketing, communications or business/commerce
  • 5 years+ marketing and communications experience, preferably in a professional services environment
  • Writes and communicates effectively; edits writing communications for impact and easy readability suited to the audience
  • Experience in managing and executing end to end marketing programs for profiling and client engagement
  • Understanding and experience in establishing and maintaining marketing systems and processes
  • Experience in project managing omnichannel activities
  • Highly developed interpersonal, communication and influencing skills, including the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with a diverse range of internal and external clients.
  • Capability in both strategic thinking and sound implementation
  • Excellent organisational, time management and project management skills, with the capacity to manage competing tasks
  • Proactive, selfmotivated and flexible in responding
