    About the role

    The Broadcom Symantec Data Centre Security engineer will have the ability to provide detail design for optimised solution, improve the current implementation of Data Centre Security and guide the team on end-to-end best practices.

    Key responsibilities

    • Perform BAU operations, maintenance, and management of Broadcom DCS.
    • Planning, scheduling, and implementing periodical patch, bug fixes and major system upgrades for Broadcom DCS.
    • Document technical knowledge in the knowledge database (Standard Operating Procedures), update detailed design and as built documentation.

    Highly desirable criteria

    • Strong technical understanding of Broadcom DCS, including configuring and optimising the product.
    • Strong understanding of the Essential Eight Application Control mitigation strategy, and the applicable Information Security Manual (ISM) controls, and how to implement them within Broadcom DCS.
    • Experience in planning, scheduling, and implementing periodical patch, bug fixes and major system upgrades for Broadcom DCS.
    • Experience in upgrading from Broadcom DCS version 6.7.x to 6.9.x

    Desirable criteria

    • Strong technical understanding of Broadcom DCS, including configuring and optimising the product.
