About the Role

Provide on-the-job training to staff, and/or identify training/professional development opportunities, in collaboration with individual employees, to help them meet the expectations of their role.
Encourage professionalism in staff by leading by example and mentoring staff, communicating workplace expectations and behaviours, and by maintaining consistent standards, practices, processes and procedures.
Foster teamwork and individual accountability by leading the team through changes to the way work is performed by the team and providing feedback to staff about their performance.
Be responsive to staff's needs during periods of high volume and/or challenging situations, including acting as a point of guidance, intervention or escalation.
Respond to the and Aged Care Services Managers feedback about service provision and/or identify and progress improvements in administrative systems, processes and procedures and/or identify improvements in staff performance to enhance efficiencies and effectiveness in service provision, balancing administrative compliance with service expectations.
Conduct quality audits of work undertaken by the team to ensure data integrity and tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
