    Description

    An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and enthusiastic Team Leader in Financial Reporting. This role offers the chance to manage a small team of Financial Accountants who are responsible for asset management clients. The successful candidate will be involved in distribution calculations, financial statement preparation and review, among other tasks.     What you'll do:
    As the Team Leader in Financial Reporting, you will play a pivotal role in managing a small team of dedicated Financial Accountants. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include leading your team with empathy and understanding, reviewing financial reports and tax distributions, and acting as the main point of contact for clients. You will also oversee distribution calculations and prepare financial statements. Your commitment to process improvement will drive efficiency within the team.

    • Lead a team of Financial Accountants, fostering an environment of collaboration and support.
    • Review financial reporting and tax distributions, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
    • Act as the main point of contact for clients, building strong relationships through clear communication and understanding.
    • Oversee distribution calculations, ensuring they are completed accurately and on time.
    • Prepare and review financial statements, providing insightful analysis where necessary.
    • Continually strive for process improvement within the team, promoting efficiency and effectiveness.

    What you bring:
    The ideal candidate for this Team Leader in Financial Reporting role will bring proven experience from the Custodian or Fund Administration industry along with CA/CPA qualifications. While previous experience in team leadership would be beneficial, it's not essential. What's more important is your ability to connect with your team members, fostering an environment of collaboration and support. Your strong analytical skills will enable you to review financial reports and tax distributions effectively.

    • Proven experience within the Custodian or Fund Administration industry is essential.
    • CA/CPA qualification is required.
    • Experience in team leadership would be ideal but not essential.
    • Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients and colleagues alike.
    • Excellent analytical skills to review financial reports and tax distributions.
    • Ability to lead a team with empathy and understanding.
