- Managing billing processes for your direct team including clients with specific and more complex billing and administration requirements.
- Managing Partners' internal and external appointments with appropriate meeting lead times including travel and diary management.
- Assisting with meeting preparation.
- Coaching and mentoring team Administrative Assistants.
- Coordinating and managing a broad variety of responsibilities and deliverables.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Legal Assistant or Secretary within professional services.
- Strong matter management and billing experience (Aderant Expert) is essential.
- Ability to anticipate Partner requirements to reduce administrative time.
- Strong time management and organisational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills with a demonstrated ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders.

The Opportunity
Our leading Employment, Industrial Relations & Safety (EIRS) team in Brisbane are seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to join them on a parental leave contract until May 2025.
The Legal Assistant will play an integral role supporting industry leading employment and industrial relations Partner Aaron Anderson and team of senior lawyers.
Aaron is recognised as a leading workplace health and safety lawyer by Chambers and Partners, the Asia-Pacific Legal 500 and Best Lawyers. He's also an active trainer and presenter and is regularly invited to present at key industry conferences.
