    The Role

    RedBalloon first pioneered the experiences industry in Australia and has now grown to also be famous for gifting. We truly believe that experiences are what life is made of – whether that's soaring to new heights in a hot air balloon, enjoying a sunset dining cruise or doing laps in an F1 race car.

    We are looking for a media expert to join the Brand & Marketing team at RedBalloon in a newly created role. You'll be responsible for planning, executing & optimising our campaigns and media spend across multiple platforms. This includes working closely with our external media agency and internal performance team to deliver impactful, integrated plans for both brand and commercial outcomes.

    You'll be pivotal in shaping our media investment strategy, channel KPIs and understanding of our customers. Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager and working alongside a Brand Manager, together you will drive full-funnel marketing and be the voice of the customer across the organisation.

    You will be our channel expert across both digital & traditional media, make data-driven decisions, and share creative best practice. From end-to-end commercial campaigns to hit revenue goals to helping us revitalise the brand, you'll work on a variety of projects. You'll be comfortable jumping in to execute creative when needed, and keep us up to date with industry trends.

    As a marketer with strong analytical skills, you'll demonstrate expertise in working directly in platforms, media selection and optimisation, stakeholder management and budgeting. This role will see you working closely with our internal team members in Performance, E-commerce, Digital Experience & Affiliates.

    Core Activities

    • Build, execute & inspire internal and agency teams to deliver ongoing marketing activity for business impact for revenue & brand outcomes
    • Develop, brief, and execute full-funnel, end-to-end campaigns across owned, earned & paid channels
    • Paid media ownership, channel selection, optimisation and reporting
    • Customer-led, insight driven marketing strategy planning
    • Ongoing data analysis, performance tracking & commercial impact

    Experience Required

    • 8 years' experience in a similar role.
    • Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field
    • Proven track record delivering marketing campaigns to drive significant commercial outcomes.
    • Expertise in analytics, digital marketing channels and paid ad platforms (Meta Ads Manager, GA4, Tableau)
    • Proven competence in setting channel KPI's, paid media ownership, managing and reporting on campaign effectiveness.
    • Ability to think strategically, execute enthusiastically, and critically analyse past performance to develop new strategies.
    • Proven ability to drive insights from data across marketing activity.
    • Ability to prioritise in a rapidly changing and competitive landscape.
    • Strong communication skills, positive attitude and ability to multi-task.
    • Nice to have: Media agency background, expertise in brand measurement metrics, direct experience with Media Mix Models.
