ABOUT THE ROLE

You will support the Director:

Awareness Media APAC in delivering effective media strategies & plans that grow our brand awareness, consideration and engagement, as well as managing the AU media laydown, budget controls, competitor tracking and test & learn deployment, while continually driving media process improvement.


Working closely with our media agency, you'll lead campaign planning, execution, reporting and analysis, and develop relevant initiatives to support the tracking, optimization and delivery of KPI's.


Collaborating effectively with Brand, Content, Performance Media, PR and Data & Analytics teams to ensure a holistic communications approach is also a crucial part of your role.

Key job responsibilities

As the Media Manager you will...

  • Develop and execute multichannel Awareness plans that fuel new member growth. Key channels include (but are not limited to) TV, BVOD/CTV, OutofHome, Premium OLV, Social, Audio and Influencers
  • Work closely with Director: Awareness Media APAC, to develop media strategies that grow brand awareness, consideration & engagement
  • Develop and own campaign media briefs, managing internal teams on brief inputs, and shepherding agency responseto briefs to meet required timelines
  • Drive full funnel planning & thinking, in partnership with the Performance Team
  • Collaborate with Performance Media and Data & Analytics teams to understand and quantify the impact of awareness media spend on acquisition
  • Develop test & learn plans for Awareness media spend to better understand marketing ROI
  • Foster a positive and constructive relationship with the media agency team and media vendors
  • Develop a solid understanding of the influencer landscape, then work with our agencies and Brand & Content teams to develop local influencer strategies which establish the Audible brand in culture
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of the AU media landscape, capitalizing on any new opportunities
  • Work closely with Brand & Content marketing teams to influence creative direction, and vice versa
  • Assist broader Marketing & Media teams with recommendations on how to improve reporting and process
  • Own competitor monitoring & reporting, making recommendations to remain competitive in our target market segments
  • With finance, own the financial process, from PO approvals through to monthly budget reconciliation
