    YOUR NEW ROLE

    As a KEY member of the winning national COMPANY SECRETARIAT/CORPORATE GOVERNANCE team led by industry-leading corporate legal compliance experts, reporting to the HEAD of COMPANY SECRETARIAT you will enjoy the full-spectrum diversity of assisting in providing company secretarial/corporate governance/compliance services to internal lawyers+ blue-chip external clients including:

    • Professional management of directors' and shareholders' meetings including AGMs;
    • preparation of all types of relevant cosec documents including agendas, minutes of meetings, statutory forms/returns, resolutions, share transfers, board reports/minutes, ASX announcements, and management of all regulatory lodgements.
    • managing relationships with partners, lawyers, clients+ external service providers/regulatory bodies (ASIC/ASX, share registries, ATO);
    • maintaining company registers;
    • director induction;
    • All other general compliance with ASX Listing Rules and Corporations Act.

    WHO YOU ARE

    We are interested in hearing from you if you:

    • Are degree/diploma qualified in law/commerce/accounting (or similar) and/or formal qualifications from the Governance Institute of Australia;
    • Have minimum 2 years (or MORE) in a similar assistantcompany secretary/corporate governance/compliance role preferably in a PROFESSIONAL SERVICES firm (eg law firm, accounting/financial services firm);
    • Have solid knowledge of the Corporations Act, company operational/reporting requirements +CAS (Corporate Affairs System) software (preferred but not essential);
    • Have outstanding communication/rapport building+ stakeholder management skills;
    • Possess high accuracy and can self-organise yourself to meet tight deadlines;
    • are willing and able to commit full-time for 12 months initial contract term (with potential for extension/permanent employment thereafter).
