Are you an experienced company secretarial and governance professional who wants to work for an innovative and forward-thinking company? Look no further Our company is a cutting-edge leader in the Logistics & Supply Chain industry which makes a genuine difference to the environment and champions sustainability.


In this role, you'll be responsible for the full range of company secretariat services to Brambles and our subsidiaries around the globe, including advising their Boards on legal and governance issues.

Our tight-knit team provides key advisory support to senior leadership on company secretarial practice, corporate governance, company law and best practice.

This role will be based in Sydney CBD and reports directly to the Group Company Secretary and Corporate Counsel.


Key responsibilities will include:

  • Attend and minute the Audit and Risk Committee meetings, advising on legal and governance issues
  • Prepare and update governance policies, charters and registers
  • Assist with the preparation of the Company's Annual Report including Corporate Governance Statement and Directors' Report
  • Maintain statutory registers and records, preparing and lodging ASX, ASIC and Companies House filings
  • Organise Board and shareholder meetings and prepare and report minutes
  • Coordinate and oversee group subsidiary database

What will ensure your success:

  • Tertiary qualifications in law or from the Governance Institute of Australia
  • Company secretarial experience within an ASX listed company
  • An ability to interpret and understand relevant provisions of the Corporations Act, ASX Listing Rules and ASX Corporate Governance Principles
  • Knowledge of applied corporate law, corporate accountability and corporate governance
  • A very high level of accuracy and attention to detail, with the ability to organise and prioritise work independently and deliver to tight deadlines
  • A high degree of diplomacy and discretion, and ability to maintain confidentiality
