Description

We are currently hiring an experienced
Retail assistant to work in our Trade store located at our site in
Canning Vale WA.


**This is an Indigenous
- identified position. Applicants must be of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent (pursuant to Section 14 (d) of the Anti-discrimination act)**
Your key responsibilities include, but not limited to:
  • First point of call for all telephone and front counter
  • based sales enquiries
  • Build and cultivate relationships with our customers face to face and over the phone
  • Process customer orders as well as credits
  • Problem solving and complaint resolution
  • Reconciliation of daily cash and EFTPOS transactions for banking
  • Participate in store replenishment exercises
  • Undertake warehouse duties as required (includes some picking and packing)

To be successful, you will have:

  • Previous Trade Counter and/or Customer service experience within a hardware store preferred
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to operate with a 'customer first' mentality
  • A proactive and positive attitude with a highly motivated work ethic
  • Ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment
  • Experience in providing bold ideas to improve the customer experience
  • Experience with or an understanding of the industrial product market would be highly valued

Salary:
$50, $55,000.00 per year


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
