Description

We are currently hiring an experienced
Retail assistant to work in our Trade store located at our site in
Canning Vale WA.

**This is an Indigenous
- identified position. Applicants must be of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent (pursuant to Section 14 (d) of the Anti-discrimination act)**
Your key responsibilities include, but not limited to:

First point of call for all telephone and front counter
based sales enquiries
Build and cultivate relationships with our customers face to face and over the phone
Process customer orders as well as credits
Problem solving and complaint resolution
Reconciliation of daily cash and EFTPOS transactions for banking
Participate in store replenishment exercises
Undertake warehouse duties as required (includes some picking and packing)

To be successful, you will have:

Previous Trade Counter and/or Customer service experience within a hardware store preferred
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Ability to operate with a 'customer first' mentality
A proactive and positive attitude with a highly motivated work ethic
Ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment
Experience in providing bold ideas to improve the customer experience
Experience with or an understanding of the industrial product market would be highly valued

Salary:
$50, $55,000.00 per year
