    APS6 Learning Designer- 12-month assignment with potential for 1 x 12-month extension
    - $55 - $65/h excl. super
    - Located in Phillip, ACT - Onsite

    ABOUT THE JOB:

    • Design and develop effective and innovative learning solutions.
    • Manage the end-to-end design process to ensure that the training content and learning methodologies are reflective of learner needs.
    • Work with stakeholders from across the Department to create a blend both synchronous and asynchronous learning experiences.
    • Actively engage with SMEs across the workforce to carry out training needs analysis.
    • Identify, interpret and clarify the learning and development requirements/opportunities to meet the operational and business needs.
    • Engage in ongoing evaluation of existing learning content to ensure a process of continuous improvement is achieved.
    • Maintain an in-depth understanding of the role and functions of the Department.

    THE SUCCESFUL CANDIDATE:

    • Ability to design and develop online learning materials, ensuring content is interactive and engaging.
    • Ability to use Adobe Creative Suite tools to create high-quality graphics, animations, and videos for training purposes.
    • Expertise in developing training videos, from conceptualisation through to final production.
    • Creative thinking with the ability to design innovative and engaging online learning experiences.
    • Project management skills, with the ability to manage deadlines and coordinate with team members effectively.
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
