    Description

    The company is an ASX listed technology company with global operations and its head office in Chippendale, Sydney.

    The role

    This is a broad role reporting to the Group Financial Controller and is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant to develop their skills.

    The position is responsible for the accounting operations of the group including End-to-end delivery of the month-end, half year and year-end closing processes and reporting requirements including but not limited to:

    • Take a leading role in ensuring accurate and timely preparation and reconciliation of financial statements
    • Assist across all the areas of the financial operations, support and oversee AP, AR
    • Key role in liaising with external auditors
    • Assist with income tax matters
    • Ad hoc accounting and finance-related projects as needed.

    This is a broad and varied role and other duties will form part of the role.

    The person

    We're seeking someone:

    • 5+ years of accounting experience with strong month-end experience.
    • Experience with AP/AR and Assistant Accountant roles
    • Hold or working towards CPA/CA or equivalent qualification.
    • Advanced Excel skills
    • Good Knowledge of IFRS
    • Analytical, high motivated
    • Enjoys a small team environment
    • Willing to be hands on when necessary
    • Wants to understand the business
    • Accurate and precise

    Indicative salary is $100,000 plus superannuation
