Qualifications


Following a sustained period of success this established Structural Metal Manufacturer seeks an experienced Structural Engineer for a leadership role.

In addition to a solid technical aptitude the Engineering Manager must be able to lead, train and inspire a team while embodying a practical all hands-on deck personal approach.


The end goal is to enable a team dynamic where everyone is valued and communication internally and with external stakeholders is constantly refined resulting in enhanced productivity and quality, reduced risk, and a team that constantly evolves.


The Engineering Manager will fastidiously ensure that attention to detail is paramount at every stage of the process from estimating, design, drafting and structural certification.


SKILLS & REQUIRMENTS:


  • A history of success as a technically focused Structural Engineer who has the capacity to produce practical design solutions
  • Previous experience working for a manufacturing company desirable
  • A thorough knowledge of estimating, costing and budgets
  • An ability to accomplish costeffective, safe designs that align with the company brand
  • A proven record of leading a team to mitigate risk for all engineering and design decisions
  • A superb eye for detail, outstanding time management and organizational skills
  • A robust working knowledge of supply chain and sales and after sales efficiencies
