- Oversee the management of commercial properties in both the Greater Hobart and Launceston areas.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords, tenants, and contractors.
- Conduct property inspections and assessments, identifying maintenance needs and ensuring timely repairs.
- Coordinate leasing activities, including tenant screenings, lease negotiations, and rental agreements.
- Handle tenant inquiries, complaints, and requests in a professional and timely manner.
- Manage rent collection, arrears, and financial reporting for assigned properties.
- Implement and enforce property management policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards.
- Stay updated on market trends, rental rates, and legal requirements affecting property management in Tasmania.
- Previous experience in commercial property management or real estate is essential.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations governing property management in Tasmania.
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Current real estate license or willingness to obtain one.
