    • Exciting New Role

    Commercial Manager – Tier 1 MEP Subcontractor
    Western Sydney

    Company
    One of the country's largest building services subcontractors that work on major buildings and infrastructure works with major builders / main contractors.

    Position
    Exciting new position to report into the director within the commercial / contracts review team. The position will be focus on contract reviews and negotiations to mitigate risk at pre construction phase.

    Negotiations with clients (builders) around legality of the contract/s, clauses and agreements.

    The position will work with multiple internal stakeholders including; general managers, directors, bid management and project directors.

    As well as leading a team you will train and develop in the business around contract risk and mitigation.

    You
    To be successful you will have extensive experience in reviewing contracts and an understanding of construction and areas of risk and negotiation strategies.

    You will also be able to demonstrate the following;

    • Strong commercial acumen and working understanding of construction law
    • Exposure to construction delivery that enables understanding of contract issues
    • Excellent stakeholder management
    • Meticulous to detail
    • Lead a team of contracts specialists
