- Manage and administer new claims, including liaising with Customers, Repairers/Suppliers and Other Parties
- Undertake technical claims administration including gathering information, claims determination, preparing correspondence, calculating settlements and processing payments.
- Assist, as required, Divisional Manger with the preparation, monitoring, and analysis of claims data.
- Identify and pursue all opportunities of recovery.
- Monitor outstanding claims via a diary system to ensure prompt settlement, in line with internal procedures, policies and GICOP requirements, which meet Quality Assurance and service standards.
- Build and maintain good rapport with internal and external customers and Stakeholders, including Trust Administrators, Fund Managers, JLT Branches, JLT Group Services, Repairers and Assessors.
- Provide claims support and information and operate in a team environment
- Preferable experience in end-to-end Motor claims
- Knowledge of the recoveries process
- Excellent Communication and Interpersonal skills
- Decision making skills
- Ability to work well within a team
- Ability to work unsupervised
- An understanding of Covers and policy wordings
- Capacity to recognise trends and anomalies of claims data

Motor Claims Consultant

JLT Risk Solutions Pty Ltd are a standalone business unit within the Marsh Pacific overarching business that enjoys a 95% market share cross Australia. We've developed a unique method to provide risk financing and management solutions for Local Government clients. JLT works with mutual funds and demonstrates the ability to work innovatively with our clients to produce effective solutions designed to protect their assets, people, and community. We proudly service over 500 Local Government organisations across Australia.
The purpose of this role is to provide superior and professional claims service to Echelon Claim Services Customers and Stakeholders, whilst utilising the services of external providers (Repairers, Assessors, and Legal representatives). Servicing General claims for motor.
