Responsibilities:

Your role

In the role of the Claims Consultant you will play a key part in assessing and adjusting a portfolio of insurance claims from start to finish, providing excellent customer service to our clients in a compliant and cost-effective manner.

Your key tasks will include:

Managing a portfolio of travel claims, liaising with various stakeholders to completion.
Meeting service, quality standards and creating accurate work scopes required by Acts.
Gathering quality information by investigation in a timely manner to progress claims.
Peer review reports completed by other consultants for quality decision making prior to issuing to clients
Identifying appropriate claims settlement amounts and determining coverage including any sublimits under the policy.
Gathering appropriate level of information and detail to progress and support claims.
Composing and submiting summarised assessments and recommendations for claims.
Communicating policy decisions to clients in an empathetic manner.
Making recommendations for payments in relation to the insurance claim, based on policy.
Responding to incoming calls from our clients and supply chain network.
Complying with legislative and regulatory requirements, and report any breaches as known.

Qualifications:

About you

We're looking for motivated individuals who also has:

Proven general insurance claims management experience (ideally property).
Excellent customer service, with strong influencing skills and an empathetic manner.
Selfdisciplined, selfmotivated, with the ability to work with minimum supervision.
Demonstrated computer literacy i.e. Microsoft Office Suite, ability to learn new systems.
Enthusiastic team player embracing a collaborative and supportive culture.
Ability to assess claims and execute quality outputs under tight timelines.
